i m an avid rx8 user... i tink, since u already mention tat u are still rather new, it would be better if u learn from the beginning... tat is, see turn coming, brake, down gear and turn.. tat would be the best...

aft u slowly get the basics rite, slowly familiarise urself wif gear choking ba.. it will increase ur cornering speed..
